SMS MOVEATHON 2017
When the horn sounded at 1:00pm on Thursday afternoon, October 5, hundreds of feet – little and big – were employed to walk, run, jog, crawl, pedal and skip their way around our parking lot course for 60 minutes during our sixth annual Moveathon! Special thanks to Kristie Neil and crew for the outstanding preparations. A great deal of effort went into this important first-of-the-year fundraiser and everyone came ready to roll!
And now, after the thrill of the incentive prizes, sponsored t-shirts, and special treats – not to mention the healthy jog, the work continues. By Monday 10/2 we were approaching 70% of the goal, or just under $20,000! Donations can still be made on the school website – use the quick link on the left MOVEATHON 2017 or click here. On Monday, October 30, we draw the lucky winners of the free hot lunch for the rest of the year, and the coveted Principal for a Day role during Catholic Schools Week in January! Grades 6, 3, 5 and 4 are still leading the pack.
